Amit spoke with Kveller about how the cast of We Were the Lucky Ones felt like a family. Growing up in Israel, the grandson of a Holocaust survivor, Amit (Jakob in the show) said “it felt very natural to me to take these roles and tell the stories. I would do it again, and again, and again, because it’s something that must be told.” He also had high praise for his co-star Eva Feiler, who plays Bella. “She gave that character everything she has.
